Over 100 years ago, Rabbi Yisrael Meir HaKohen Kagan, the Chofetz Chaim, saw the widespread neglect of the mitzvos of Shmiras Haloshon and Ahavas Yisrael.
Recognizing the devastating impact of lashon hora and sinas chinum, he made it his mission to teach Klal Yisrael the importance of positive speech and the power of every word. The Chofetz Chaim taught that by strengthening these areas, we can strengthen Jewish unity, elevate our daily lives, and help bring about the coming of Moshiach.
Founded to carry that vision forward, Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation develops programs and resources that make the teachings of the Chofetz Chaim practical, meaningful, and accessible for every generation.
Through school programs, community initiatives, worldwide learning campaigns, publications, and educational resources, CCHF reaches tens of thousands of people each year. Our programs inspire participants to understand the power of their words, strengthen their relationships, and incorporate the values of Shmiras Halashon and Ahavas Yisrael into everyday life.
By bringing these timeless Torah teachings to classrooms, homes, and communities around the world, we strive to help build a more united Klal Yisrael—one word, one conversation and one relationship at a time.
